Don’t Forget Addison
Even though she’s not-so-long gone from Grey’s, Kate Walsh (Addison Montgomery) is making a very big name for herself on the show’s hit spin-off “Private Practice.”
And while last season was pretty much cut short by the writers’ strike, rumor has it that season two of “Private Practice” just began shooting (Per the Grey’s Anatomy writers blog, Grey Matters)
I’ll have to admit, I was impressed by the show’s cast, setting and well…everything about it.
I immediately recognized “Judging Amy” star Amy Brenneman, who plays the shrink who needs a shrink Dr. Violet Turner; and “Wings” star Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder.
Wilder and Addison seem to have a lot of chemistry on the show. One of my favorite moments was when he kissed her in the stairwell on the Grey’s pilot episode; and another when he performs acupuncture on Addison, causing the “rush of emotion.”
I love that all the guys on “Practice” are nice to look at. The hormones must be out of whack if you are a heterosexual female and haven’t noticed Chris Lowell, who plays hot surfer-midwife-receptionist Dell Parker. And Paul Adelstein as pediatrician Dr. Cooper Freedman has that sweet “I’m a messed up commitment-phobe, will you come fix me” thing going for him.
So, we do have something to look forward to besides Grey’s next season. But we have to wait for that show to start as well.
