A Movie “Made of Honor”

I finally saw it!

In looking for something to do to fill my Memorial Day weekend, my sister (a fellow Grey’s fan) and I decided to make a day of the movies and catch our own personal double feature, including Patrick Dempsey’s “Made of Honor.”

While I don’t run to the theater and see every chick-flick out there, this one certainly topped my list – all thanks to my loyalty to Grey’s, Dempsey and to my deep-down romantic sentiments.

“Made of Honor” definitely contained all the main ingredients of a successful romantic comedy – the hot guy who won’t commit (or who has some kind of issue); the cute girl who kind of likes the guy and is irritated by him; the guy’s climactic realization that he was a fool and likes the girl; the girl who is irritated at him for taking so long; and a guy that makes a fool of himself to get the girl, revealing something deep he has learned about himself that wins the girl’s heart..

And they lived happily ever after…

I really did love this movie! It was funny and romantic and, of course, had a guy who was pretty great to look at!  I give it five stars and recommend it to all my chick-flick loving girlfriends out there. But hurry, it’s been in theaters for a little while now and may be on the way out.

In the news: The two-hour season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” vaulted ABC to No. 1 in the ratings on Thursday, attracting 17.8 million viewers from 9 to 11 p.m., according to Nielsen’s estimates. (View Full Article)
